Message from the Proprietress
Mrs. Maria Ochanya Anebi JP, the visionary behind Emerald Academy, is a dedicated and hardworking leader. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Houdegbe North American University, Cotonou, and a Higher Diploma in Culinary Studies from China, she has always been passionate about education and children’s development.
As the former Coordinator of the Nigerian Air Force Officers Wives Association (NAFOWA), Yola Chapter, from 2012–2015, Mrs. Anebi demonstrated her commitment to excellence by remodeling the NAFOWA Little Angels Nursery School in just six months, doubling its pupil population. Her remarkable leadership and drive laid the foundation for Emerald Academy, which officially opened its doors in September 2021.
Mrs. Anebi’s determination to provide a qualitative and conducive learning environment has transformed Emerald Academy into one of Kuje’s premier schools. Through her vision, quality staff, and passion for education, she continues to inspire both the staff and students of Emerald Academy.
